Teacher
It varies by school, but usually, it's the principal and an assistant principal who interview you. They'll ask you a bunch of questions about education and your experience. It gets easier the more desperate the school is for the position you're applying for.
- Why are you a good fit for our school?
Teacher
First, I had to create a job profile and apply for the position online. Then, I met with an HR rep downtown to go over some paperwork. After that, I had to pass a drug test and a background check. Finally, I interviewed with the principal(s) at the school where the position was open. The questions can differ a lot depending on the principal. I was offered the contract during the interview, which I accepted.
- Tell me about your teaching philosophy.
- Describe your approach to classroom management.
- What are your expectations in the classroom?
