Customer Relationship Specialist
My first interview was for a new department they were creating. It was a pretty standard process: submit your resume and then come in for a face-to-face interview. I spoke with one of the hiring managers, but not a department manager. Since an employee had recommended me, it was a pretty basic chat about my past experiences, what I want in a team, what I want in a manager, and my strengths and weaknesses. After I was hired, changing departments or moving out of the call center was really tough. I went through three interviews with different managers before they decided to keep their temp on permanently. I knew someone who was being laid off from a department and had been with the company for 13 years. He went through 14 interviews for a middle management role before they told him it was down to him and one other person. After weeks of no response, they rejected both candidates and reposted the job to start the whole process over. The interviews themselves aren't hard, but there are a lot of them, and often they don't actually lead to jobs.

Teacher's Aide
I applied online and got a call a few days later to come in for an interview. I filled out some paperwork and then met with the center director. The interview lasted about 20-30 minutes. A week after that, I was asked to come in for a trial run in both of the infant classrooms. After the trial run, the director talked with the teachers in the classrooms, and I got offered the job soon after. The whole process took about 3 weeks.
- Can you share a challenge you encountered and successfully navigated while working with children?
IT Support
I had a video call with the recruiter, then a long in-person interview with the client. It was mostly about personality and seeing if I fit in, with some technical questions thrown in. It was pretty laid-back and not too hard. They asked some tech stuff I didn't know, but it seemed more out of curiosity than anything serious.
- How would you handle a user request for something not currently supported by the IT infrastructure?
- Could you explain the distinction between an .OST file and a .PST file?
- What is the purpose of a DHCP Reservation?
Center Director
So after I applied, I had a phone screen, then got scheduled for an interview. My first interview was with the center director and the district manager. After that, I was interviewed by the center director who needed an assistant and got the job offer that same week. Then for my promotion, my district manager and I met at my center for an interview, and I got the promotion offer the next week.
- Can you provide a detailed explanation of how you handle children with varying needs?
