First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Knowledge Services.
Recruiter
It was a well-organized interview, with a good mix of structure and real conversation. They were clear about what to expect, respected my time, and showed me the role, team, and culture. They kept me informed throughout the whole hiring process.
- Can you share some examples of your performance and the outcomes you achieved?
Analyst
I had a phone screen scheduled with the recruiter, but they no-showed the first time and then rescheduled it a week later due to their lack of availability. They rescheduled the second time for a different date without confirming if it worked for me. Then, the day before this rescheduled call, they canceled it entirely and stated the role was no longer open. My advice: if a candidate is in the final stages for a role and likely to get an offer, don't schedule initial phone screens with new candidates; it's a waste of their time and effort.

Account Manager
I had a really good experience overall except for the end. After the first phone call, I went into the office twice. My interviews went well, and I was told I'd hear back the next day after my last one, but I didn't. I finally heard back a day later, at the end of the day, and they said I didn't get the job. This was surprising because I got positive feedback from the CEO, the chief cyber security officer, and another manager. They said my sales experience was good and I'd be a good fit. The recruiter told me I didn't get the job because I wouldn't be able to drive new engagement, but then said I'd be perfect for account management, which is the role I was interviewing for. The job was reposted on LinkedIn within an hour of me finding out they chose someone else. LinkedIn showed the job was still open and accepting applications, which contradicts what I was told. In the future, just be straight with candidates if it's not a good fit right now; no need to sugarcoat it and waste our time.
- Can you tell me about your previous jobs?
Software Engineer
It was a 3 interviewer interview. One interviewer asked scripted SQL questions, another asked scripted .NET questions, and the third talked to me to assess culture fit. The questions were very scripted and from the book, making them hard to recall if not used daily or recently studied. Near the end, there was a 5-minute whiteboard exercise. The intention of a whiteboard is to assess thought process and articulation. I tried explaining my logic verbally, but one interviewer wrote it on the board. I didn't get the offer because of the whiteboard exercise, which I interpret as my spoken code not being correct.
