I had a call with the recruiter, and it went pretty well. They gave me some advice on what to focus on for the hiring manager interview, which was helpful. Then I had a second call with the hiring manager. The team took over two weeks to get back to me after that.

I went through two interviews for a Marketing Coordinator role at Knix, and it was pretty rough, ending with them ghosting me. Both interviews were rescheduled last minute, which was understandable given the reasons, but still messed up my schedule. I even had to chase down interview links the day before in two instances. After the second interview with the hiring manager, I was told I'd get a response within a week. I followed up ten days later with the recruiter and heard nothing back. I had already accepted another offer, so I didn't push it, but the whole thing felt super unprofessional. It takes a lot to prepare for interviews, and it felt like they didn't respect candidates' time, which probably says a lot about how they treat their employees. Ghosting candidates, especially after multiple interviews, is never okay.

This was a really good interview experience! I applied online and then got an email from a recruiter for a 30-minute phone screening call. She was super clear and managed the time difference well since I was in another time zone. After that, I got good feedback and set up a video call with the hiring manager. They asked me mostly personality and experience questions, like how much time I'd need to learn a specific platform. Then came a take-home assessment with three case study questions that were really relevant to the job, but took me longer than expected (about 1.5-2 hours instead of 30 mins). The final stage was a 'panel' interview where I presented my assessment to the hiring manager and a second-level manager. Apparently, the Director sometimes joins if they're available, but it wasn't a big deal because the interview was still very conversational and I felt comfortable asking questions. I got an offer about 1-2 weeks later. The recruiter kept me in the loop the whole time, which I really appreciated!
