Casino Table Gaming Associate
The interview is an online meeting via Zoom with other candidates. They separate each of you into individual breakrooms via Zoom and you wait for the interviewer to join in. They will explain and go over the same things you looked over online when you applied for the position. Afterwards, they will proceed to test your mental math speed with some tests. Pretty much it and they'll contact you via email within 2 days max.

HR Assistant
I got contacted for a phone interview and then a video call interview in the spring. After that, I had an in-person/video call panel interview which went well. Unfortunately, this was at the start of the COVID-19 lockdown, so offices were closing. They told me they'd pause my application and schedule a final interview when things were better. They gave me the talent acquisition manager's contact info and said she'd be my new point of contact. I called the manager with a question, left a voicemail, but never got a response. In June, I called her again and finally got through. I asked about updates for the HR Admin Assistant position. She told me to call back the next week to schedule the last interview with a better timeframe. I tried calling and emailing multiple times over the next three weeks, but got no response. I was ghosted. I get that the pandemic is tough, but it's good practice to at least call back candidates to let them know if they're moving forward.

It was quick and painless, really relaxed and friendly. First, there was a phone call where they mostly talked about the job and set up the in-person interview. The face-to-face part had two timed tests that were kinda hard if you get stressed about time. Then we talked about my resume, the job in a bit more detail, and how the company started. After that, they asked if I was cool with a background check and said I'd hear back either way about moving on. They said the last step would be like a workshop or working interview that lasts two days, four hours each day, and it's paid. At the end of those two days, I'd know if I got the job.
- Why did you choose to apply for this job?
Gaming Associate
I sent in my resume and answered some questions. The next day, I got a call to set up a webcam interview. After that, they invited me to an all-day, 8-hour final interview. This included a team exercise, introductions, group questions, timed card counting, learning blackjack basics, understanding the job duties, and a 20-question math test focused on blackjack payouts. The staff were nice and it was pretty chill. They paid me $75 for my time. The day after, HR called and said no offer because all three departments have to agree. Still, it was a great interview experience and I liked the company and staff. I especially appreciated getting paid even without an offer.

- Could you share a personal strength and a weakness?
- How would you define customer service?
