Although my skills and experience match what they're looking for, the lack of feedback after the interview has been super disappointing. I put in time and effort to prepare and show how I could help Klaviyo succeed. But, the communication after the interviews has been basically non-existent. Even after trying multiple times to get feedback or find out about my application, I've only gotten generic, automated replies. This lack of openness and not getting any helpful feedback makes me feel like my time as a candidate wasn't valued. I think candidates, especially those who put in a lot of work for the interview process, deserve to at least get some constructive feedback. It helps candidates get better and also shows the company is serious about being open and communicating well. I had high expectations for a company like Klaviyo, known for being innovative, but this experience has really left a bad impression. I hope Klaviyo takes this feedback well and thinks about improving their communication to give candidates a better experience. Future candidates, be ready for a frustrating lack of feedback and think about if this fits what you expect from a respectful and open interview process.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I went through a bunch of meetings with people in the US and EMEA. It was all pretty structured, with conversations really focused on the right stuff. Everyone I talked to was super nice. They did a good job overall of telling me about the company's goals and strategies, and why Klaviyo is a great place to work.

After people take the time to go through the interview process, the least you can do is reject them from your own email address vs a “no reply” email. Not super professional.
