KLA-Tencor's hiring process is pretty fast. I applied through Naukri on Day 1, got a call for a Telephonic Round on Day 2, and the Telephonic Interview was on Day 3. On the same day, I got confirmation of my Telephonic Interview results and F2F scheduling, which was on Day 5 at the KLA-Tencor Office in Chennai. Then, a Skype Interview was scheduled with the KLA-Tencor India President on Day 8 (delayed for 2 days due to the weekend). The next day, Day 9, I got confirmation regarding final selection and negotiation. By Day 10, the offer was prepared and waiting for approval and receipt. This was a fast procedure compared to my current employer where the process started in January and offered in September. The interview process included: Telephonic Technical Discussion, F2F Written Test (1 hr), F2F Aptitude Test (30 mins), F2F Logical Reasoning (30 mins), F2F Technical Discussion (1 hr), another F2F Technical Discussion (1 hr), F2F Managerial Discussion (1 hr), F2F HR Discussion (30 mins), and a Skype Video Chat with the Site President (Technical, Managerial, Behavioral Discussion - 1.5 hrs). Once I reached the office in Chennai, HR informed me about the process, and I was surprised about a 'Written Test' for a candidate with 9+ years of experience, which was amazing.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • There was a Written Test for a Mid Career Candidate.
  • The Site President asked very technical questions.
