There were two rounds to this interview. The first round was with HR and covered ML theory, asking about CNN concepts and specific questions about padding and stride. The second round was a technical interview that delved into the math behind ML algorithms, including derivations like linear regression, and covered computer vision basics.

So, first there was this online test on Hackerrank with aptitude, OS, DBMS, networks, and 3 programming questions. Out of 250 people, they shortlisted 20 for the first technical interview. In that round, they asked us to explain our solutions to the online test questions. Based on that, they picked 7 people for the second technical interview. For the second tech round, we had to write code and explain our logic, and that decided who moved on to the HR round.

Behavioral Technical Coding Presentation

Met HR at my university's Info Session and gave them my resume. They reached out a few days later to schedule a phone interview. The subdivision manager conducted the phone interview, mostly going over my resume and focusing on a couple of projects. A few weeks after that, I got invited for an on-site interview at their HQ in Milpitas. The on-site involved about 5-6 one-on-one interviews and a 1-hour presentation where I explained one of my projects. The questions covered signal processing, particularly image processing, and weren't too tough if you know DSP. Some interviewers also checked my MATLAB programming abilities. I got an offer about three days after the interviews.
