The interview process began with an informal chat, then moved to a more formal second interview. We talked a lot about my previous jobs and why I left them. They asked some competency and situation-based questions, and went through my CV again. Afterwards, a current employee gave me a site tour. I had the chance to ask questions about the processes and products.

It was a very relaxed interview process. I had two interviews, a few weeks apart. The hardest part was just finding a time that worked for both of us. The interviewers were both really nice and made me feel comfortable. They both spoke highly of the company and did a great job selling it. I would have taken the job, but my personal situation changed.

I got this job through a temp agency. They called me first to talk about an interview. Then I went to Kloeckner Metals in Murfreesboro for the interview. First, I met with the regional vice president. Then I met the office manager, who would be my boss. After that, I met the current billing person. They all told me about the job, and then they said they'd call me Monday with a decision since the interview was Friday. On Saturday, the staffing agency called me and said they wanted me to start right away. He told me about benefits and pay, and I had to tell him if I wanted to take the job after talking to my husband. They gave me a pay range of $13-16 per hour. I asked if they could raise it to include my travel time, and they were happy to. Just by asking, I got a $1 raise per hour. I already had vacation planned for the next week, and they were okay with it. I started the following week.
