First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at KKCS.
Team Lead
The interview went really well, it wasn’t super technical and the interviewer was chill, relaxed and down to earth which made the conversation comfortable and easy to get into, but I didn't get the job.
- How do you handle upset customers?
Marketing Coordinator
Applied online, first spoke to the HR Coordinator for a preliminary phone interview. Then had my first in-person interview with the HR Coordinator, Marketing Manager, and Director of Business Development. My second in-person interview included meeting the President & CEO and the Senior Vice President.
- Can you share an instance of a mistake you made at work, how you rectified it, and the lessons you took away?
- Could you outline your current job responsibilities and what your day-to-day tasks involve?
Senior Structural Engineer
I applied for this job on LinkedIn. The interview process was really messy. The interviewer didn't seem to care that I had designed BART stations, which was supposed to be a requirement. After the interview, they told me the position was filled by someone more experienced. But then, the same job was posted again a few days later. This company totally misleads candidates about their openings. Seriously, avoid this place.
- What was the reason for your departure from California during the Great Recession?
Software Engineer
It is basically for the associate software engineer role and the hiring process is easy and as follows: Aptitude round Communication assessment Cognitive Ability Psychometric Technical interview Face to Face HR One on One
- Given a task to complete in a week, what would be your approach?
