the interview seemed uninterested in hiring me from the start, thought I did well enough to beat the impression, but apparently not. she was also very pushy in terms of how many hours I can work, almost feel like they're gonna disqualify me if the hours are too low (?) the process just gives off weird vibe, not very commutative and sketchy. they also send me a rejection email for a position i didn't even apply for lmao

I applied online, and about a month later, they reached out to schedule a Skype interview with a former fellow. It was just an audio call, no video. It felt like a casual conversation, and I got to ask them questions. It went well, and the interviewer was super helpful. The very next day, I got contacted for a second interview with a Kiva staff member, also on Skype. This one was more like a standard interview, and it wasn't too tough. The first chat was about an hour, and the second was around 30 minutes. Overall, it was a good experience. I heard back about three weeks after the second interview.

The recruiter was unprofessional. She emailed to set up a phone interview and proposed a time and date. I confirmed the slot, but she never called. I emailed her after the interview slot had passed, asking what happened and if she wanted to reschedule. She never responded. A few weeks later, I received a rejection email that began with 'Thank you for speaking with me over the phone about Kiva...' Their HR department needs significant improvement. I think you'll find that this place isn't a well-oiled machine to work at.
