Leasing Manager
I talked with the Regional Manager over Teams. It was great that she was on time and we got started right away. I liked that the questions she asked were directly related to the Leasing Manager role. The questions were pretty straightforward, with the hardest one being about what makes a Leasing Manager stand out in the current competitive market. She also asked about my thoughts on Community Outreach. Even though I wasn't super familiar with the company when I applied, I made sure to do my homework by reading reviews of the specific property and checking out the management company's website. This paid off because I could ask specific questions like, 'Honestly, what's your take on the property and how is the property manager handling it?' I was hoping the property manager would join the call too, but overall, it was a really positive interview experience.
- What, in your opinion, sets a Leasing Manager apart in today's competitive market?
- What are your thoughts on Community Outreach?
- In what kind of environment do you find you are most successful?
Human Resources
After I applied, I got a call from an HR Talent Acquisitions partner. We had a phone interview, and then they asked me to come to their home office for an in-person interview. It was a bit intimidating at first because the whole HR team was there, but once I met everyone, I felt pretty comfortable. The interview was really conversational and relaxed. They seemed to just want to get to know me and see what experience I have. I got a call a few days later and they told me I got the job. The whole thing was super fast, less than two weeks, and it was great to get quick updates on my application.
- Can you share one aspect of this company that appeals to you?
Property Manager
I found out about the Property Manager opening on their website. I submitted my resume and they called me back pretty quickly. They said they wanted to do a phone interview first and would get in touch within the week. Turns out, the role wasn't what I was looking for, but they suggested I send my resume to a different Regional Manager. They said they'd give that Regional Manager a heads-up to expect my email. I did that, but I never heard back. I even followed up, but still no response. It was really unprofessional to not even acknowledge my email.
- Are you planning on working a part-time job elsewhere, or do you see yourself as socially active?
Assistant Property Manager
The hiring process and communication were good, with prompt responses. It was an informal interview where they wanted to know about my expectations and goals. I was informed of the role, property status, and overall responsibilities.
- Can you tell me about yourself and your previous experiences?
