Behavioral Technical

The interview process was pretty standard. The interviewer spent some time talking about their own background which didn't seem super relevant to the interview itself. All in all, it was an okay experience.

Behavioral

Had one 30 minute phone chat with the TA manager. They talked about the role and the team. Asked about my background, experience, motivation, and salary expectations. Seemed good, but I feel their process takes too long compared to others, even though they said it'd be about 2 weeks. We weren't on the same page about expectations, and I never got any feedback from them.

Technical Behavioral

I had a chill chat with the Security Director first. Then, I did a technical interview with the Security Manager. The questions were pretty basic web stuff, but the interviewer went deep, asking for exact JS syntax for certain things. I managed to get through it with a little help. Don't get too excited even if you nail all the questions.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • What's your method for storing a password salt?
  • Tell me about common web vulnerabilities.
  • Can you show me the exact JavaScript syntax for a specific security function?
