First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kipu Health.
Implementation Specialist
The interview process was a mess. After the third interview, I never heard back from them. They also don't send rejection emails. I tried following up and still got no response. They were really disorganized; I had to email them twice just to schedule the second interview, and they even had the wrong time noted down. It's a terrible company that leaves candidates hanging and ghosts them.
- How do you keep yourself organized and how do you communicate with different teams and stakeholders?
Client Manager
My third interview was supposed to be with two people, but one didn't show up and wasn't replying to messages. The person who did show up tried to contact the other person via text, email, and other messages. Eventually, the interview was cancelled. After I sent over my availability for a reschedule, they told me they were 'reassessing' the position. I then told them I wasn't interested anymore and expressed my dissatisfaction with how the process was handled. As is typical with Kipu, I received no response.
- Were you asked any standard questions that most companies ask?
Marketing Manager
Had a panel video interview with the team. They seemed really serious and didn't show much emotion. I tried to lighten the mood with some jokes, but it didn't work. I got worried they might be unhappy because the company seemed like a stressful place to work. I even shared some ideas on how they could get more business, but they were cold and didn't seem very receptive. They mentioned they were looking for someone for a similar role with a lot of job overlap. That was a bit of a downer, especially after I spent so much time researching their business. It was pretty deflating. I followed up with the recruiter and got a standard rejection letter not long after. I ended up getting a job with one of Kipu's customers, so now the table is turned.
- Tell me about a time a marketing campaign didn't go as planned and what you did about it.
Sales Manager
The first step was a 45-minute phone chat. After that, I was invited for a second meeting in person. I met with the company founders, who were really nice and professional. We talked a lot about the job duties and my background to see if I'd fit in. The pay structure wasn't what I was hoping for, but they were very polite about it.
- Would you be open to a job that is 100% commission-based?
