First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals.
Sales Associate
Good , very comfortable and supportive experience overall. Sales oriented questions were asked and overall it was enriching experience. Allowances were discussed during the interview process in the company, the job description was very thoroughly given.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
Compliance Director
I was contacted for a compliance role. The hiring manager saw my background and wanted to speak with me about leading the compliance program. After I asked about the company's 4x/week in-office requirement and if they could provide a reasonable accommodation for a medical disability, the company stopped responding for awhile and then sent a curt, “the role requires the employee to be on-site 4x/week” and that was it. So, apparently, although Kiniska claims it is an EEO employee, they are unwilling to even entertain employing a person with a medical disability. Keep that in mind.
- Would you be able to be in the office 4x/week?
Clinical Project Manager
The whole process took about two months and involved meeting more than 15 people. It started with an HR screening, followed by two online meetings and two in-person rounds. Each onsite round lasted about two hours and included meetings with multiple staff members. The HR recruiter was very responsive throughout this long process. I didn't reach the final round with the CEO because they hired someone with more experience. It was the longest interview process I've ever been through.
- What makes you seek a new role, and what insights do you have regarding our company?
- Could you tell me what you know about our company?
Clinical Operations
HR set up the interview process pretty fast, but it ended up taking three weeks to get through. I talked to 12 different people, which included my possible direct manager, an in-person panel, senior staff, and even the CEO. Everyone I met was super nice and professional. But, even after I followed up a few times to see where things stood with my application, I still haven't heard back. It's a bummer to be left hanging with no response after putting in so much time and effort. The lack of follow-up feels really unprofessional and inconsiderate, especially after going through so many interviews.
- Tell me about your previous work experience.
