The first step was a technical screen on networking and MySQL basics. Then, I had another technical screen where I had to talk about a project from my resume. The last round was a coding challenge: find the kth largest element.

The interview wasn't too tough. Kingsoft's lead engineer chatted with me, asking some C language and algorithms questions. The problems were pretty standard, the kind you'd find in any C book, and the algorithms were straightforward, like those in CLRS. The interview went smoothly, and I ended up getting the offer.
