Applied online and was contacted within a week. Had two in-person interviews at their office with four different people. It seems they only hire people who have worked directly with a general contractor, regardless of qualifications. Even though I did well on their "drawings test" and had experience with all their software, I didn't get an offer because I worked for a subcontractor.

It was a really fast and short phone call at first. Since it went well, they asked me when I could come in for a proper interview at their place. It was a simple interview where they asked me about my previous work, projects, and what drives my career.
