Event Coordinator
You would apply online then someone from the team will email you then from there they will set up an interview if they wish to proceed. They will ask for your schedule to try and work out a time that works between both parties.
- What skills do you bring to the table?
Account Manager
It was an open interview, not typical. They wanted us to feel comfortable so it started with free talk. Very laid back, which makes for a relaxed atmosphere. The lack of communication and professionalism is crazy though. They don't contact you properly and you never hear anything via email or phone call.
- What Netflix shows do you watch?
General Manager
I got an email a couple of weeks after applying for a phone interview. It went fine, but about 5 days later I got an email saying I didn't get the position. Disappointing, but what can you do? I reapplied when the posting came up again. This time, I pretty much immediately got an automated rejection saying the spot had been filled, then got it again a week later as a reminder. The job has since been reposted. Guess I'm not what they're looking for. I'll still enjoy the pops.
- What would your boss say about you?
Shift Leader
I applied for this shift leader position on May 23rd. KOP contacted me to invite me to an open interview session on August 3rd. We were told to be there between 5 and 6pm and expect it to take about a half hour. I arrived a little early. Upon arrival, we were asked to fill out applications. It seemed busy and chaotic. They were running behind. Interviews started around 5:30pm. There were 4 interviewees total, and they took 3 of us back for interviews, leaving one person behind to be interviewed later. It felt like an informal group interview with a manager and the owner. They mentioned that all shift leaders start as pop slingers but didn't specify promotion timelines. I got the impression they were hiring for backup pop slingers due to festival season. The interview ended around 6pm, taking an hour instead of the expected half hour. Pay, benefits, and next steps were not discussed. I sent a follow-up email the same day but received no response, offer, or rejection.
- What's your favorite flavor of pop?
