The interview process for King Arthur was pretty long, totaling 7 interviews with 8-10 different people. Most of the interviewers were great but a few clearly weren't prepared and hadn't even looked at my website or resume. This was frustrating because I spent so much time preparing and would have appreciated a bit of returned effort. One of the interviews with 2 people in marketing was especially frustrating as they seemed very distracted. The scheduling process was not flexible and at one point I had 4 hours in interviews back to back. I love the company and will remain a supporter but compared to many other interview processes, people seemed unprepared. Another frustration is that 1/2 way through the interview process expectations for the role changed from what was initially required.

We did a tour of the facility, went over policy overview, had detail explanation of job description and explanation of tasks that will be performed. We saw an example of the average workday, got to meet leaders and supervisors, looked at packages and orders, and got to meet other coworkers. There were easy, fun, relatable safety talks.

They set up an interview for me for 10 am the same day, just 2 hours after sending the email, and asked me to confirm. I had to ask what time zone it was, and they said "Eastern Time." I confirmed I could make it. When the interview time came, I started the chat interview and introduced myself. They took a long time to respond, making me feel ignored. Eventually, they asked me to confirm my name, phone number, and location. I provided the details and asked if it was a remote job, which they confirmed. After more silence, I asked if they needed anything else. Then, an automatic message appeared saying I was blocked and couldn't be reached. They ignored me and blocked me without explanation, which was very rude.

Got an email after applying online. The interviewer kept me on the phone for 45 minutes. When she was about to tell me the salary, she knew it was a lowball offer, and I said it wouldn't work. She said she'd keep me updated. I thanked her via email, but heard nothing. After I followed up again, she never responded. It was super rude since she promised updates and then ignored my emails. I'd think hard about interviewing with them again or suggesting it to friends. They definitely don't offer competitive pay for being such a big company.
