Rotational Program
Long and drawn out process with little to no communication between rounds of interviews. There were a total of 5 interviews, including phone screenings, multiple zooms, and a final interview that then required two more zoom interviews.
- Are you willing to relocate to where?
Area Sales Manager
So I had an initial in person interview with the hiring manager and then a phone call with the sales VP. The whole process was pretty smooth and the interviews felt thorough. I got offered the job and then had to take a personality assessment through predictive index. After I followed up for my written offer, I was told that while the assessment wasn't pass/fail, my offer was rescinded because of my results. It's like it was pass/fail though. Offers shouldn't be extended if they're still subject to assessments like that. I'd also tell Kinetic to review if they should keep using the assessment for hiring decisions going forward because PI’s own website talks about how to beat the test. A quick Google search will show you that using these assessments for hiring decisions isn't a good practice.
- Can you describe your approach to organizing and prioritizing your tasks?
Manager
HR responded super fast, and the whole process moved quickly. Everyone I talked to was nice and gave me good insights on the job and company culture. The office was nice and the people were friendly!
- Can you tell me about a time you had to manage a difficult coworker?
- Describe a challenging situation you faced and explain how you successfully navigated it.
- What are your primary motivators in a work environment?
Dealer Development Specialist
Everyone I talked to was involved in the decision-making, so it was efficient and they explained the role clearly.
- Tell me about a time you faced adversity in your career.
