First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kindred Hospice.
Bereavement Coordinator
It was pretty chill, no super tough questions. Mostly focused on my availability and flexibility. Since it's a multi-disciplinary team, they wanted to see how I'd work with different roles. I met with the local office leader and another team member. They seemed nice and genuinely interested in my goals. It was a good experience overall, and I felt the process was suitable for the job.
- How do you collaborate with colleagues?
Registered Nurse Case Manager
The interview was conducted over the phone. I had trouble hearing most of it. They didn't review enough information during the interview. I would have never taken the job if I knew the company was such a mess and didn't properly explain time off policies or bonuses.
- What makes you want this job?
Social Worker
There were two 30-minute interviews. One was with the hiring manager and the other was with the care team. They asked all the standard questions about why you'd want to work in this area and went into detail about your prior experience. They advised to talk about your passions and let your personality show, especially in the team interview, as they want to know if you'll be a good fit for the team.
- What value can you provide to our clients?
Clinical Social Worker
I interviewed with the director and the manager at the branch location. It was a very casual setting, they made me feel comfortable and I did not feel pressured. I received a follow up call the next day with an offer.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- Have you had experience with home visits?
