Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kimberly-Clark.
Marketing
The first interview was with an HR person from England. It was in English and consisted of very general questions, mainly to check motivations, confirm CV details, and assess spoken English level. The second interview was with two marketing people from the Madrid team. It was brief (half an hour), but the connection wasn't great. They mentioned there wouldn't be more interviews, and they'd select the candidate after this second one.
- Could you estimate the annual sales volume of toilet paper rolls in Spain?
- What's your experience with different digital marketing tools?
- Have you worked with e-commerce platforms?
Marketing Assistant
The whole process was quite fast and within the week I received an offer. I had 3 interviews, one with the HR over the phone, one with the manager and one the manager's boss via Skype. The last interview was in english and the 2 first ones in french.
- What makes you the best candidate for this role compared to others?
- What is your understanding of our company?
Marketing
The interview process took forever! There were 9 rounds total, mixing phone and in-person interviews. The office itself is pretty small and not very appealing, though its location near square one is great. The team dynamic was mixed - some people were really friendly, while others were quite serious. They came across as a bit old-fashioned and traditional, but they do have some good brands.
- Can you share 3 current affairs topics relevant to Toronto?
- Could you tell me about your 3 strengths and 2 weaknesses?
- Please introduce yourself.
