First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kimberly-Clark.
Commercial Manager
I had two phone interviews, one with HR and another with an area director. The questions were general and easy to answer. The interaction was friendly and relaxed. I was always informed about the next steps, although the notification that I wouldn't proceed came several weeks later.
- Can you describe your professional background and past work experiences?
Management
I was referred to HR by an employee and the whole thing took about three months. In total, I spoke to five people, including HR. It was pretty simple. HR or someone else gave the interviewer a list of questions and three out of the four managers asked the same question, which was the first one on their list. There were two main parts: behavioral and experience. After I found out I didn't get the job, HR sent me a survey about the interview process three times. Also, since I traveled to get there, I was told I could submit a travel expense form for reimbursement. Even after asking multiple times and following up, K-C hasn't paid me back for my travel costs, gas, and tolls. I'd advise anyone traveling to ask for a stipend upfront to avoid this hassle.

Senior Manager
Applied via the K-C website. First interview was with HR, a resume review, went fine. Second interview with the hiring manager was also relaxed and informational. Third interview, also phone, was more structured but typical. That's it. No further feedback from K-C, even after I followed up. Found out I wasn't selected by checking the website later. This is the second time applying to K-C, and it'll be the last. Their hiring process is long, disorganized, and rude. I don't mind not getting the job, but they should at least be decent about it.
