I had a great time talking to the manager and the boss! They were super friendly and just wanted to see who I am. I felt really at ease and it wasn't scary at all.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied to Kilwins for the Assistant General Manager role and got contacted a few days later to schedule an interview. I drove 7+ hrs for my first interview with the General Manager, Mack McInstry, who was unprepared. The interview went okay, and he said he'd be in touch in a few days. A week later, I got scheduled for a second interview. My second interviewer, Scott Fisher, was late and also unprepared. I drove another 7+ hrs for this interview. Scott seemed disengaged, repeating questions and not responding to my answers, which really threw me off. I realized he was just going through the motions. He asked about meeting sales goals, but I blanked due to the interview's distress. After the interview, Mack asked how it went and said he'd be in contact. A week and a half later, I followed up via email since I hadn't heard back. I knew I wouldn't get an offer after the second interview, but I didn't even get a response to my email. It's been over 2 weeks, and still no reply. Kilwins talks about honesty and doing your best, but they lied about response times and showed a lack of professionalism and communication. Both interviewers were unprepared, and Scott didn't seem to do his best. I put in a lot of effort, and they couldn't even respond to my email to say they weren't hiring me. I think Kilwins needs to address management's treatment of people, communication issues, and their company credo. Also, I found out they don't make most of their ice cream.

I applied and got a call for an interview within a week. The interview day was flexible, but they wanted it ASAP. I went in for the interview dressed in trendy business attire. It was a quick and easy meeting. The owner, who is extremely nice, asked me some general questions about myself and things like "Describe a time where you used teamwork." I was hired on the spot.

I applied online and then handed in my application at the store. The interview was quick and easy since they really needed someone. They asked a few simple questions and mostly just told me what the job involved and what they expected from employees.
