First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at KIHOMAC.
Program Manager
I've interviewed with KIHOMAC twice for the Program Manager position. A friend who also applied wasn't even given an interview, but my friend and I both interviewed and haven't heard back. My first interview was in January 2025 with the directors. They said they'd let me know in a couple of weeks. The interview itself went well and they even gave me a facility tour. After three weeks with no word, I followed up. They replied that they hadn't made a decision yet and would get back to me. A month and a half later, I emailed again, and got the same response. I figured I wasn't chosen. I interviewed a second time in January 2026 after a friend reached out about the role. It was with the same people as the first time. Again, the interview went well and they said I'd know in two to three weeks. They mentioned other candidates but assured me I'd be notified this time. It's now been about two and a half months since that interview, and I still haven't heard anything. I'm ready to accept I didn't get the job and move on. The company seems great with lots of opportunities, but I wish the communication was better and they responded quicker.
- How do you feel about starting up a new program?
- Tell me about your experience with contract negotiations. Have you led any yourself?
- What's your background in contract negotiations? Have you ever taken the lead on one?
Mechanical Engineer
Simple interview process, Talent acquisition reached out to me after applying about a week later. Had interview within a week. Got response on job about 3 weeks after interview. Overall it was a good experience with good communication.
- Can you tell me what you know about Kihomac?
Embedded Software Developer
The interview had two main parts: a chat to get to know each other and then a coding challenge. The first part was pretty easy, mostly just 'Tell me about yourself,' and then some follow-up questions about what I'm interested in and my experience with specific roles. It was a really nice, upbeat, and chill conversation. The second part, the coding test, was a bit more nerve-wracking, but they explained everything clearly, and after sorting out a few tech glitches, it all went well.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Could you write some code to convert integers into Roman numerals?
Wire Harness Technician
you walk into the building, sign in as a guest, and then head to the conference room. Once there, you'll meet the interviewers and they'll ask you questions about your technical skills, knowledge of electronic principles, and how familiar you are with hand tools, soldering, crimping, heat shrink, and string-tie. They might also ask about troubleshooting and testing, and then give you a tour of the facility.
- Do you know AS9100?
- Do you know J-STD-001?
- Do you know IPC-620/640?
