I had an interview with the managers. They asked some basic questions about my experience with childcare and my passion for it. They usually ask how you interact with kids, your philosophy on child development, and your future career goals at Kidville. It wasn't a tough interview.

It was pretty easy, just a one-on-one chat with the director at her office. We even took a tour of the facilities. They were looking for someone positive, upbeat, and friendly, who shows interest in kids and can get along with me, with a good sense of humor. After that, I met with HR to handle all the paperwork and stuff.

After applying online, I got contacted about a week and a half later. The interview was in person the following week, and I was hired two days after that. It was pretty informal, and we talked about my qualifications for the job and my personal background, like where I'm from, how I got to New York, and my education.
