Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kids Overcoming.
ABA Therapist
I applied online. The HR called me first for some basic qualification questions. Then HR scheduled a video interview with one of the directs. Soon after the video interview, I was called and told I got the offer.

Behavior Technician
So I had two interviews. First one was like a general chat about the job and asking me why I wanted to join them. The second one was with someone who went over the company history (which I'd already seen online) and then really dug into my past jobs. She seemed way more into that than anything else. The only other thing she asked was why I wanted to join them specifically.

- What is your motivation for seeking employment with our organization specifically?
Behavior Therapist
My experience with KOI's hiring team, Rebecca, Emily, and Kim, was really positive. They seemed really passionate about the company and their work. After being referred by an existing employee, HR set up a phone interview and then an in-person one. They extended an offer quickly and let me know about the next steps like live scan and a physical. KOI was also willing to supervise my school internship, which was great and made the process very smooth. The HR team was super friendly and responsive!

Behavior Technician
I had a phone interview first and then went in person. The person I met was nice and it didn't feel like an interview at all. But, when I asked a specific question about the job, I felt like that was the end of it. I didn't get an offer, and I don't think it was because of my background.
