Sales Representative
It was a horrible interview process. Do not take a chance with them. They don’t even seem to know their product. Their sales team and training specialist (people who sell their products to schools/school districts), so not understand technology or AI. They don’t understand that AI hallucinates and that needs to be said with any clients using AI tools. Very inexperienced and not professional. The interview process: Submit application, met with hiring manager, and performance task/panel interview. The performance task was very difficult for an external candidate but luckily I was able to navigate through it with my experience. I worked very hard and spent hours preparing for the 45 min presentation, only for the panelist to come late and cut me off to only 25 minutes. They didn’t prepare any questions to ask me and seemed to just ask it on the fly. It was a very odd interview. It didn’t seem like they were very serious with the interview process or they do not have a very strong interview culture. I was told I sounded very “kiddom” but then was ghosted for a month, even after sending follow up emails, and then rejected with no feedback.

Marketing
The chat with the recruiting team started out nice, but it changed when I asked if the job had opened up because a team lead was recently hired. Instead of saying something good like, 'Yes, we're happy she's here, and this job was made to help her ideas and leadership,' they just said the company was always 'growing' and that the hire wasn't connected to any new plans. They said my name a lot when they explained, which felt condescending. I later checked company reviews and saw lots of people saying the culture was toxic and involved a lot of micromanaging, which fit how the conversation felt. My thought wasn't that the company is growing, but that it's in a loop of people leaving—something I didn't expect to find out from what seemed like a simple question.

Marketing Designer
I applied for a hybrid/remote Marketing Designer role, even though I lived in a different state. My contact confirmed they'd consider fully remote candidates. After applying, I had a recruiter call the next day to discuss my remote needs, which they said was okay. Then I interviewed with the direct manager, who is remote in my state. They liked me but were unsure about the remote aspect. I confirmed it was cleared with the recruiter. Days later, I learned the role wasn't remote after all, and they weren't moving forward. It was frustrating since I spent two weeks interviewing for a role that ultimately couldn't accommodate my remote situation, especially with a remote manager in my state.

Account Executive
The hiring process lasted about 6 weeks, a bit longer than usual. This was to make sure the right, high-level team members were hired, giving them time to settle in and provide input on new hires. Since the team is small and just starting out, they really value everyone's agreement before moving forward. Otherwise, it was a pretty standard process with two phone interviews and one onsite. They kept me updated on the delays and everyone was nice, easy to talk to, and really enthusiastic about their work.
