First, there's an initial screening which is a phone/HR interview where you'll chat with HR or a recruiter about your background, why you're interested in the company, and how your skills fit. They might also cover basic requirements, pay expectations, and your availability. Then, there's the technical interview, which is usually the main part for software testing roles. You could be interviewed by a QA engineer, a testing lead, or even the hiring manager.

So when I applied for the waiter job in Kuwait, first I got a call from the recruitment agency. They asked some basic stuff like my experience, availability, and if I had a passport. Also asked if I was fine with long hours and dealing with different people. Then, the first actual interview was online with the agency. They asked about my past waiter experience, how I deal with difficult customers, working under pressure, carrying trays, and POS systems. They also threw in a situation like a customer complaining about cold food. I tried to show I'm patient and can communicate well. A few days later, I had the second interview with the restaurant manager in Kuwait, which was more serious. They grilled me on cuisine knowledge, multitasking, teamwork, grooming, and flexible hours. They also checked my English and a bit of Arabic for customer interaction. Sometimes, there's a practical part where you might have to serve a table or carry a tray on video, or even do a trial shift if you're already there. After passing, I got the offer with all the details, and then the agency handled the visa and medicals.

The interview process was pretty flexible, with about 2 to 3 interviews. We talked about technical stuff related to the credit sector, but overall it was fine. They also asked some personal criteria questions (in a professional context) to make sure I'd fit the employee atmosphere. They also brought up social and non-business-related topics to get a clearer picture of the candidate.
