First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Key Food.
Cashier
The interview for the cashier position at Key Foods was pretty straightforward. First, you had to fill out some paperwork, and then you met with one of the managers who ran the store.
- What is your availability for work?
Sales Associate
I trained for three days and then got accepted. It was an okay and friendly experience. I asked if the role was full-time and they inquired about my availability to see how it could be accommodated.
- What are your salary expectations?
Pricing Clerk
The interview felt pretty laid-back, and the interviewer was really nice and easy to talk to. They asked about how I keep things organized, wanting examples of when I've had to figure out new software and make sure everything was super accurate and detailed. This was the first of two interviews I had for the role.
- What methods do you use to guarantee accuracy in your tasks?
- Can you provide instances of your organizational capabilities?
- How do you go about learning and adapting to new software?
Front End Cashier
I interviewed for this job years ago. The owner was in the waiting room and I didn't know it. I was nervous and he was messing with me. I thought I did good, but he must have told them not to hire me. The store burned down, so it doesn't matter now.
- Tell me about your father and his occupation.
