I applied online and then got an email from a manager in Massachusetts. We had a phone interview the next day. The manager seemed out of it and focused on a less important job I had, instead of my more relevant experience. He asked how my 30+ years of experience would benefit his company. I explained, and he asked for more details, but he still didn't seem to get it. I should have known when he asked why I can't find a job. I explained the market, and he shockingly asked, "Oh, is the market bad out there?" Clueless.

The interview was very comfortable. The job description matched up to what I had read online in preparation for the interview. WE started with a phone call that took about an hour. I was then asked to come in for a face to face meeting. The atmosphere in the office was relaxed and very friendly. The in person interview also lasted about an hour. I then came back for a second face to face with my direct supervisor who was also very friendly and made me feel comfortable during the process. I received an offer a few days later and accepted. The entire process took about a week.
