First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kestra Financial.
Marketing Specialist
Had a quick chat with the hiring manager. Then, I interviewed with a team member. After that, I moved to the final stage, which involved an in-person presentation that I thought went well. Unfortunately, I got a rejection email without any explanation, which was a bummer after putting time into the presentation.

IT Support Engineer
The IT team was okay but the VP was dull and cold. I didn't feel a genuine interest in getting to know me. J4C0B's interview focused heavily on technical questions, which was unexpected given the second round was supposed to be technical/behavioral. I was also surprised by the lack of a welcoming greeting. The questions he posed seemed more aligned with a higher-level role. They ghost all candidates they don't want.

Analyst
This was a new position they were creating to support their growing investment management division from a data perspective. I had a quite a few interview/conversations with the manager and later had more formal interviews with his boss and team members. Ultimately, I wasn't the right fit for what they needed but I really liked the manager and the other team members so I was open to a future role if it opened up. The one sort of negative vibe I got was that through several interviews I was questioned about perceived "job hopping" and in my opinion, it shouldn't be viewed in a negative light so that suggested to me, that this company wasn't in line with my values.
- Could you explain your previous job changes, as it appears you've been job hopping?
Marketing Executive
To start, you'll usually have a quick chat with HR or a recruiter to go over your background and make sure you're a good fit. Then, depending on the role, there might be a skills test, especially for tech or analytics jobs. Kestra often uses multiple interviews, so you'll probably meet with a few managers and team members. For higher-level positions, expect to spend a good chunk of a day with 4-6 people. They'll ask behavioral questions, maybe run through some scenarios, and chat about culture fit. They want to know about your past work, how you tackle problems, and if you vibe with their values. Technical roles could involve actual tasks like coding or designing dashboards. The whole thing usually wraps up in about two weeks, but it can sometimes take a bit longer. Most folks find it to be a solid but fair process.
