The hiring process was pretty standard and felt solid. Applying was easy and straightforward. I heard back and got hired just days later. No complaints at all about how it all went down.

I applied online and got a call for an interview two weeks later. The first interview went well, and the manager was quick to talk but overall it was pretty good. He scheduled me for a second interview with the other manager. I came in for my second interview, but he had a meeting and rescheduled it for the next day. I didn't mind and thought it was no big deal. I came in for my second second interview, he led me to a table and we talked about my country and what it's like. He didn't ask me about my personality or any typical interview questions. Later, I mentioned I could work whenever except during school times, and his face dropped, seeming puzzled, and he asked if I was in school. I replied with 'um yes?' I could tell right away that me being in school was not good. The interview ended, and he said he would call me by Friday (it was Saturday). From Saturday to Friday, no one called to let me know if I got the job. I called on Friday, and he wouldn't give me a clear answer. I called Saturday and Sunday, but no one could tell me anything as they weren't in charge. I called on Monday and explained how no one had called me. The manager apologized and said they'd call me around 8-9 AM (it was around 7 AM), explaining the manager who does the interviews was on vacation but is back now and he could talk to him. No one called back. Two days later, my friend, who is 18, told me she got the hostess job at Kirby Lane. They didn't even have the decency to call me to say I wasn't a good fit for the job.

When you arrive, they'll walk you through what happens at the venue to give you a sense of the atmosphere. They'll also explain everything so you don't have to figure it out on your own.

So I went in and we just sat down and chatted. They asked me some pretty basic questions about myself and what I was looking for, and also what they were looking for in someone. Then, at the end, they offered me a drink and said they'd let me know later that day.
