Project Manager
After submitting my CV online, I got a call from HR if I was pre-selected. Then, I was invited on-site to do some psychometric tests. If I passed those, I had one or two interviews with HR and Management.
- What makes you interested in this position?
- Can you describe your approach to handling setbacks?
Comptable
Tram-train Driver
We are first invited to a group information session, where the job and training are presented. Then, we take psychotechnical tests, and we finish with interviews, all in the same day if possible.
- Tell us about yourself and your background.
- What did you take away from the information session?
- What must a driver do before operating their train?
Signal Trainee
I had 2 interviews for this trainee role. The first was a quick virtual one, maybe 2 minutes long. The interviewer asked if I knew anyone at Keolis or had electrical experience, which seemed odd for a training position. A few days later, I was invited for a second interview at their Somerville location. This time, I met with two interviewers who told me electrical experience wasn't actually needed because railroad systems are unique. They seemed surprised by my resume, saying "oh, I didn't even notice that" about points I brought up. Despite feeling the interview went well, I got an email saying they selected a candidate whose experience was a better fit. This was for an entry-level trainee position, so it felt like nonsense. I'm not interested in their $22.79/hour for the first 120 days, the unionization wait, the 5-year vesting for railroad retirement, the non-matching 401k, or the benefits that only start after a year. Reading reviews, many people report bad management. They wasted my time.
- Were you able to review my resume before this interview?
- Do you know anyone who works for Keolis?
- Do you have any prior experience with electrical systems?
