I applied for this role and within 3 minutes, I got an email confirming they received my application and that they'd start reviewing this week. Then, 1 minute later, I got rejected saying I didn't meet the qualifications. 10 minutes after that, I got an EEO survey for the job I was just rejected for. Kentro TA team, you need to do better. This looks bad for your team and company, especially when recruiters say they don't use AI for hiring. At least make sure your internal systems are aligned so candidates auto-rejected by the ATS don't get follow-up requests. Good luck with your hiring!

I passed the first round, which was a phone call with a recruiter. I was a great fit for the role - super qualified, close to the job location, and the salary was good. The recruiter scheduled a second interview for the following week. I prepared extensively for it, but 10 minutes before it was supposed to start, I got an email saying it was cancelled because they were moving forward with someone else. It was really unprofessional and a bummer. Find a company that actually respects candidates' time.

Right after I applied, I got a call from the recruiter for a quick chat. Then, that same week, I had a phone interview with the person who would be my supervisor. The interviews felt really friendly and positive. I was super excited about this company and thought it was a great chance to get into the field I've always wanted. Soon after, I got invited for a final interview. After that, they asked for three references. I figured I had it in the bag since usually, when they ask for references, it means you got the job. But, I didn't get it. It was pretty disappointing.

It all began when a recruiter contacted me after seeing my resume and thinking I'd be a good fit for an open role. We set up a call to discuss the position and my background further. During that initial call, the recruiter asked quite a few questions about my history and experience, really trying to see if my skills aligned with their needs. I felt I explained my qualifications well and gave them a solid idea of how I could contribute. Following that chat, I was invited for an in-person interview. Once I got there, I met with some of the potential team members. They started with some general questions about my past work and why I'm interested in the company. Then, they really shifted to the technical side, having me tackle a few coding problems and problem-solving exercises on a whiteboard. I must say, the coding questions were pretty tough, but I focused on staying calm and explaining my thinking process step-by-step. The interviewers seemed really engaged during the technical part and appeared to appreciate how I explained my approach, asking relevant follow-up questions.
