It was an online questionnaire where I had to give 2 recorded responses. The questionnaire included scenarios with multiple-choice answers. The questions were mostly about high school math like statistics and high school English. For example, I had to read an email and then answer questions about interpreting the main information and the topic of the email.

I had an interview and then had to follow up for feedback because I didn't hear back for a month. I was told I'd get a second interview but didn't get a date. After chasing it up again a month later, they said they were still trying to get interviewer availability. Four months after the first interview, I'm still waiting for that second interview date, which I assume means no offer. It wasn't the best experience.

It was a full day online assessment centre. I had an individual case study where I had to do a presentation and answer interview questions. Then there was a group activity where we discussed sustainable energy technology for a client, also with a presentation. The final interview was 45 minutes with generic HR questions, followed by another 45 minute interview about oil and gas process topics like HP/LP separation, scrubbing, compression, and water purification.

  • Can you explain the process for purifying water that has oil contamination?
