First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kenneth Young Center.
Therapist
First, someone will contact you for a phone screen. If you pass that, they'll set up the actual interviews. I got to talk to my manager.
- What is your favorite aspect of working as a mental health clinician?
Therapist
The interviewer was very kind and professional. I was asked many questions and answered them, but I didn't get the job in the end. I think I need more experience going forward.
- Can you tell us about your past experiences?
Volunteer
Good company, nice building. Crowded, 2-3 people in an office met for 1. Employees are helpful. Not enough funding for necessary employees.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Therapist
First, there was a phone interview with straightforward questions. It was standard questions of why I want to work at KYC and how I found out about the position. I thought that it was fair--but then I had to interview with a couple of other people who would be the actual team I would be hired to.
- Why did you want to become a therapist?
