Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kennesaw State University.
Administrative Assistant
The interview process spanned over six weeks. Initially, I had a Zoom interview followed by a panel interview. Throughout this period, I was repeatedly informed that I was a top candidate. However, after a two-week wait, they contacted me to say they had reposted the job to attract more applicants. This was quite confusing and felt disrespectful, as it would have been better to receive a clear 'no' initially rather than being led on about being a finalist.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Administrative Assistant
It was a pretty easy interview process, and very interpersonal. Since the department is in communications, it was good that the team was with me the whole way and always answered my calls or emails about the job or my status.
- Can you tell me about your strongest skills or attributes?
Administrative Assistant
I got contacted via email after applying and set up a phone interview with the Office Manager. Then, the next day, I had another phone interview with someone pretty high up in the department. After that, I went in to interview with the Office Manager again and three other people from the department.
- Can you describe how you prioritize your daily tasks?
