I had one in-person panel interview and wasn't offered a second round. It sounds like most people get interviewed by Bill Kennedy, the owner, for the second round. He owns the agency and the building, so he has all the power. I guess he decides if he likes you and wants you to work there. It's a bit too much power in one person's hands for me.

I emailed the office administrator about visiting and they told me about an open position. I had two interviews, both panel interviews in a conference room. The second interview was bigger and had the company president, who I think talks to everyone in the second round. Everyone was nice and asked good questions. I got an offer a few hours after the second interview and took it the next day.

Behavioral Other

I was interviewed by two women who seemed smug and disinterested from the start. I had just moved from the East Coast where I worked for a big media company, and I wondered if they were intimidated. One of them gave a very short answer when I asked about their experience at Kennedy Communications, and the other just listed some accounts before asking me another question. I left and went to another interview, where I got a job offer right away. Interestingly, I got an email about two months later saying they hired someone "more qualified."

Behavioral Group

I applied for the job through an online job board. About a week after applying, I had an interview. I met with five senior account executives and the CEO. This felt pretty intimidating since it was an entry-level position and my first interview. The interview itself felt awkward and uncomfortable. The employees didn't seem very friendly. You could tell the company culture is great, but I didn't get a warm welcome during the interview. The receptionist was very nice, though!
