They asked about my previous experiences, why I'm interested in this company and this specific position, and why I think I'm a good fit. It was a really relaxed conversation with the recruiters. My advice is to just be yourself and make sure you've done your homework on the role and the company.

Just wanted to share my thoughts on interview feedback. Saying 'everything was fine' might seem safe, but it could actually hurt your chances if they're looking for constructive feedback to improve their process. If they think something went wrong, like an interruption, downplaying it might make you seem less capable. The best candidates are the ones who can spot and handle issues smoothly and professionally.

A few days after I followed up via email with Kempinksi Hotel (I'd sent my resume and cover letter previously but didn't apply to a job offer), they sent an email outlining the next steps. I had to click a link to complete an online personality test. This test had two parts. The first part asked questions about my general day-to-day work life, like how I'd handle a problem (a) discuss with my superior, b) ask a teammate, or c) try to fix it myself). It's not about right or wrong answers, but about matching the company's desired profile for the job. The second part was similar, presenting a statement like 'Customer satisfaction always comes first,' and I had to indicate if I totally disagree, disagree, was neutral, agreed, or totally agreed.

It was a good experience with friendly people. They asked about my background and work history. I was asked about my motivation for seeking a new job and my salary expectations. They also inquired about my flexibility regarding working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. I was questioned on the skills I could contribute to the company, my leadership background, and my proficiency with IT tools like hospitality software and Microsoft Office.
