First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Keller Group.
Field Engineer
I interviewed at their Miami office and met with superintendents, PMs, and the operations manager. I was asked a bunch of questions about the company, my past work experience, and what I can contribute to the team.
- How do you go about solving problems?
- Can you describe your previous work experience?
- What unique skills or value do you offer to our team?
Intern
I showed up on time for my interview. The front desk person led me to a conference room and offered me drinks and snacks. The interview was with the branch manager and lasted about an hour. We discussed the job, the company's projects, and my background.
- Tell me about your communication skills and how you handle conflict resolution.
Geotechnical Engineer
The interview process had three rounds: a group discussion (GD), a written test, and a final interview. The GD and written test were quite easy, but the interview was moderately difficult to hard. They started with basic questions, then moved to more in-depth ones.
- Could you explain how you acquired soil properties?
- Can you describe the test procedures involved?
Project Manager
Great interview. Very personable team. Interview went 30 minutes long. Really enjoyed meeting them. Felt motivated and hopeful but got completely ghosted. Sent follow up email and phone call but no bother to reply. Disappointing. If you take that much of your own time as well as the time of a potential candidate, take an additional 30 seconds and reply with a final answer. It’s professional and courteous.
- How do you perform in a fast-paced environment?
