First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Keene State College.
Assistant Professor
The hiring process started with a phone interview with the hiring committee. After that, I was invited for a full day of interviews on campus. This included meetings with the department, the dean, and the hiring committee, and I also had to give a classroom lecture.
- What makes you want to teach at KSC?
Business Analyst
The interview process was professional and very thorough. I went through three rounds of interviews with different team members and management. Each person asked several questions.
- What would your colleagues say about you?
Resident Assistant
I had an interview for Resident Assistant. It took place in a medium-sized room, with tables around the edges. At each table, there was a Residents Director and a current Residents Assistant who interviewed me. The questions were pretty simple and direct, asking about things like my time management, my habits, what my room looked like, and what classes I'd be taking next year. They also asked about different scenarios, like how I'd handle a resident crying in the hallway. I think anyone who is a genuine person would do well in this interview.
- If you saw one of your residents crying in the hallway, what would you do?
