First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at KEEN Footwear.
Learning and Development Manager
This interview was a total waste of time and didn't represent the company well at all. They scheduled 30 minutes but only got to two questions: 'Tell me about yourself' and 'what's your salary range.' The whole thing was over in 10 minutes. The interviewer seemed completely uninterested in me, the job, the company, or the interview itself.
- Could you introduce yourself and share your background?
- What is your desired salary range?
Coordinator
The interview process involved an initial phone screen with HR, followed by two Zoom interviews with team members. Additionally, there was one interview with an HR coordinator. The entire process, from scheduling to the offer, was completed within approximately one week.
- What is your approach when a colleague seeks assistance and you lack the immediate answer?
Product Development
The experience was not great. It was pretty standard but took a long time and felt inefficient with a lot of steps. It involved several in-person interviews, some one-on-one and some in a group setting. I also had to give a presentation on a business strategy. Then, I met with executives to get final approval. Communication was lacking throughout, and I wasn't sure what was expected of me. It felt like they didn't respect my time or the effort I put in.
- Can you explain your development process and how you'd approach specific challenges like x, y, and z?
Marketing
The interview was short and sweet. We started with a phone call, and then had an in-person meeting. They asked a lot of questions about the industry and also about my personal life. It felt like they were more interested in getting to know me as a person rather than assessing my skills. The interview was very informal, just like the company atmosphere. I'd suggest having an athletic background or already knowing someone at KEEN.
