The recruiter set up an interview but sent the details to my spam folder. I didn't get a chance to interview and was only told to check my spam after I reached out myself. It was unprofessional and lazy. Usually, recruiters follow up on confirmations and check in with good candidates. This was a terrible experience.

The process was pretty fast; first a screening, then an interview with the hiring manager, followed by one with a team member I'd be working closely with. All good vibes and everyone seemed keen to finish up before the year ended. Each interview was about an hour long and quite in-depth. Then, radio silence. No feedback, no replies to emails, nada. Total waste of time.

The Head of Recruiting reached out to me on LinkedIn. We had a initial conversation about the company and the role. After that, I completed a PI Behavioral Assessment. Then, I interviewed with the hiring manager, the business development manager, and the CMO/CRO. Finally, an offer was extended. The whole process took less than a month.

The initial conversation with the recruiter was fine. She asked about my background and how I would handle managing and evaluating a sales team. I also learned that future opportunities after starting this role could involve managing a larger team or transitioning into outside sales. For the ISR position, they don't expect prior knowledge of their services, as the main task is to generate leads and hand them over to the outside sales team.
