It was an easy interview process with easy questions, great management and a great team environment. They called me for a phone screen, then I had an interview with the SM and then the AM.

I applied online and got an interview pretty much right away. The first interview with the store manager went really well, I thought. She mentioned she'd contact me by the end of the week to set up a second interview with the Regional Manager. I didn't hear back, and when I called the store, nobody answered. She eventually texted me directly, apologizing for the delay. I told her it was fine. I then scheduled the second and last interview, but I never received the email from the District Manager. Her email system was down, causing a bit of chaos, but we eventually had the online interview. She kept her camera off the whole time due to technical issues, which I get. However, I feel like the interview should have been rescheduled since I never got an email to follow up, and it just didn't seem very professional or organized. At the end, I asked her if there was anything that might stop me from getting hired, and she said no, that she had one more person to interview but I was much more qualified. She said I'd hear back within a week. But then I was ghosted. I tried calling the store and reaching out to the store manager again, and I couldn't even get in touch with the district manager, and I didn't even know her name. Overall, I just wish there had been some communication, it's a bad feeling to be told you basically have the job and then get ghosted.

The hiring process was quite lengthy and felt uninspired. It was pretty standard stuff. The people interviewing me were nice and helpful when I asked them about the company. I thought it was strange that they didn't do reference checks, especially for a company of this size.
