They were super nice and honest through the whole thing. They answered all my questions directly.
- Did you review all our requirements and confirm you can meet them?
College Persistence Counselor
I went through 4 rounds of interviews. The first was a phone call, and the next three were virtual. During the third interview, I asked about the pay range, but HR was reworking it and said they'd get back to me. I asked again in the fourth interview, and that person also didn't know but promised to find out. I asked about the day-to-day, but didn't get a clear answer. Instead, they asked how I would operate in the role, what I'd improve, and what I'd do to meet job requirements, which felt strange for someone not yet employed. They said they'd decide by the end of that week and inform me the following week, but they didn't. After two weeks of silence, I received an email with a large assignment due in 3 days, which would have taken hours. By then, over a month had passed, and I'd accepted another job offer, so I withdrew my application. It felt unprofessional to have so many interview rounds, then ghost me for two weeks, and then ask me to work for free. While I'm used to skills assessments or presentations, this assignment seemed excessive and felt like they wanted free work, especially when basic info like salary range wasn't provided.

Teacher
The interview process gives you a really good look at the school and lets them get to know you too. I felt like I had a solid understanding of the role and could make a decision after leaving because I got to see a lot of what the day-to-day would be like.
- What are your workplace values?
Teacher
I had a chat with the recruiter and then a separate chat with some other people. The whole process was smooth, and it felt like everyone there was happy with their jobs and rooting for me. Even though the interview went well, I decided not to take the job because I didn't think the school's vibe would really work for me as an experienced teacher. They were great to talk to, but I'm happy I passed.
- What are your observations about our classroom culture?
