Katy ISD is a wonderful school district where the admin, at my location and from other schools within Katy ISD, has been excellent. They treat you as a “big family” from day one. I love working with Katy ISD’s admin, colleagues, children and communities/parents.

The process for teachers and non-teaching positions is different. It's honestly not smooth and will leave you waiting. If you want to apply to multiple positions, it will make you put your references multiple times and they would have to fill the same request multiple times. It’s a waste of time for not only you but for your references. One way to fix this is to not notify your references until you have decided to interview the applicant. Also don’t even expect to receive any kind of update before or after an interview, they won’t!

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Why do you think you are a good fit for this role?
