Customer Success Manager
There were 4 rounds in total! First was the Recruiter screening call, then the hiring manager interview. After that, I met with two team members from the CS team, and finally the VP of CS. The interview was okay, but be ready for some unexpected questions.
- What aspects of this role appeal to you?
- Describe a situation where you rectified a problem.
- Can you provide concrete instances?
Sales Coordinator
I applied online and heard from a recruiter within a few days. We had to reschedule, but he was enthusiastic about the role. The next week, I interviewed with the hiring manager. She mostly asked about my interest in the job, seeming not to have reviewed my resume. I felt the interview went well, and she said she'd get back to me in about a week about next steps. A week later, I hadn't heard anything, so I contacted the recruiter. He informed me that she was still interviewing candidates. No further contact was made.
- What would it take for your current employer to keep you?
- Tell me about your proudest accomplishment in your current job.
Account Manager
This was a long process. I liked the woman who would be my direct manager, but the woman who ran the place I took issue with. I wore a nice dress and makeup, but because I literally did not put a blazer on she made me come back even though she said I was perfect for the job. I went against my judgement because I was in dire need and went back. I interviewed with one of my potential colleagues. He was nice but not well spoken and seemed to not be on the same page of what an account manager should do/say etc. It took over a month and they came back with a job offer of less than the recruiter promised and would not budge on the below scale salary. I would advise women that even though this place is run by a woman, she is clearly not someone to look up to with regards to being accepted based on merit and not by 'male standards'.
- Extremely generic questions asked.
- No complicated questions.
- Keep your answers consistent as you'll be asked at least twice.
Customer Service Representative
It was a really fast interview, straight to the point. They asked me about my past jobs and what I'm good at. They were kind of fake until I got the job offer, and I felt like they hired me just to meet a diversity quota. After I was hired, the manager barely talked to me, even when I tried to start a conversation. The interview itself was super easy, and the job was too. But the management and their petty office drama make this company not worth it. I'm looking for other jobs now because the drama is so childish. The interviewer even slept with someone who got hired at the same time as me. It's a mess!
- What would you do if a customer was really angry?
