The interview process was pretty straightforward. They started with typical questions about my background, my knowledge of the company, and relevant experience for the role. After that, they asked me to come back for a second in-person interview and mentioned they would reach out to schedule it. I followed up with my availability, but I never heard back from them. While it's fine if they decided not to move forward, it was a bit strange for them to request another in-person meeting and then ghost me. The company itself seemed like a good place to work, though.

The office culture seems great, everyone smiled or says hello when walking by. There's a casual dress code, and everyone seemed to be hard at work. I met with the head of the department for 35 minutes, and it went smoothly. The interviewer was thorough with their questioning and super helpful in answering my inquiries. I was a bit surprised I was not offered the position, but I did lack some experience in the apparel industry, though my skill set aligned great with the position and I went to school for this. However, I do realize the current job market is tough, tougher for those seeking to work in fashion in a city that has minimal companies in this industry.

The office was modern and set in an old building, giving a nice vibe. The dress code was lax and the company seemed to have a young staff. It was a bummer I didn't fit the exact description for the role. I spoke with an HR person over the phone. They asked what I knew about the company, like when it was founded, by whom, where it's based, and what brands they sell. The HR person was easy to talk to and enthusiastic about my background. We scheduled an in-person meeting a few days later. When I arrived, I met with the HR person again. They asked again what I knew about the company, my salary expectations, and then gave me a tour. I then met the marketing director, who was very smart and engaging. We talked for about an hour about the position, but they quickly mentioned I wasn't quite what they were looking for. We then discussed their online advertising strategies and vendors, which I felt I handled really well, assuming that was the focus. Overall, it was a good interview, and I wished they'd been a better fit because it seemed like a fun place to work.

My resume got passed along by a friend and I had an interview with HR. I didn't get much info on the job description, it felt like they hadn't really defined the role yet. The interview was mostly about my resume and experience, and they asked about the company and culture. I got a quick tour and noticed it felt a bit unprofessional – the area outside the main floor was messy and unkempt with some broken furniture.
