Customer Success Manager
I found the posting on 'Welcome to the Jungle', which then led me to the Kantata jobvite board to apply. About two weeks after applying, I got an email inviting me to start the interview process. The first step was a 15-question homework assignment. This assignment basically restated the job description, and all the questions were about the CSM role. I finished the assignment on NYE, and the next week I got an offer from what seemed to be kantatacareers.com. Turns out that email address was spoofed, and the whole thing was a scam. Heads up, this was a hoax.
- Describe your approach to managing a book of business as a CSM.
Business Development Manager
The first round felt pretty basic, not very in-depth, and didn't make me excited about joining. The recruiter seemed like they were just going through the motions. When I asked about the company culture and sales process, it felt like they didn't really know and just said whatever to get through the interview.
- Can you describe your sales process?
Technical Support Analyst
First up was a chat with the recruiter, just the usual stuff, you know, tell me about yourself and your past wins at work. Then I talked with the Hiring Manager, they wanted to see if I'd fit in with the team, asking lots of behavioural questions. After that, there was a technical test. Finally, I had to go over my answers to the technical assessment with a panel of three people.
- What makes you want to work here?
- Tell me about yourself.
- Can you share some of your past work achievements?
Solutions Engineer
I had an HR screening with Eldon, who was really awesome. After that positive experience, I was disappointed when the hiring manager started our interview by saying "I didn't even look at your CV, let me pop it up, but can you start telling me about yourself?". It made me think how bad it would look if I as a candidate said the same thing. We spend hours preparing for interviews and this is what we get back? This is not the kind of person I'd like to work for. The rest of the interview was unorganized. They ended up freezing the position anyway.
- Can you tell me what you know about Kantata?
